MEET ERIN

Starting therapy is a meaningful step, especially when life feels heavy, uncertain, or out of balance. I believe therapy should be a supportive, collaborative space where you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. At the core of the work is the therapeutic relationship itself—built on trust, openness, and respect—because meaningful change happens when you feel truly seen and understood.

My approach is grounded in meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is a partnership: you are the expert on your lived experience, and I bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, and support to help guide the process. As we work together, there is room for learning on both sides—your growing self-awareness and insight, alongside my commitment to showing up thoughtfully and attuned to your needs. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, lingering past experiences, or feeling stuck, you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll work toward greater understanding, practical tools, and meaningful change.

WHO I HELP?

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to slow down, reflect, and show up for yourself. I work with adults who are navigating substance use, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions. Much of my experience comes from supporting individuals with substance use disorders and providing trauma-focused care, including work with those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. I believe people are not defined by their struggles or past experiences—you’re not broken, you’re human. Therapy can be a meaningful space to make sense of what you’ve been through, rebuild a sense of control and confidence, and move toward healing at a pace that feels right for you.

WHAT CAN YOU SPECT?

Our work together is trauma-informed, collaborative, and centered around meeting you where you are. Therapy isn’t about pushing you before you’re ready—it’s about helping you feel grounded, supported, and empowered as you move forward. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. I draw from evidence-based approaches, and sessions are tailored to your unique needs, goals, and comfort level. Humor is also welcome here—healing can be meaningful, human, and include moments of laughter. Connection and authenticity are important parts of the therapeutic process.

When I am not at AMW then you will find me?

Outside of work, I enjoy moving my body—walking my two rescue dogs, running, strength training, or hiking. I love traveling as much as possible, exploring new places, and catching as many sunrises/sunsets as I can. I also appreciate slowing things down with a second cup of coffee, spending time with family and friends, and being in the garden.
