MEET HAILEY
I bring my daily experience as an in-school therapist to serve my clients at AMW, with my client-base being primarily teens and college-age students.
Providing emotional support, assessing needs, and making the connections necessary between students, teachers, and family members are a regular part of my practice. In the interest of supporting my clients’ mental health, I regularly help students to process trauma and address triggers.
I pride myself on an ability to exhibit cultural sensitivity and contribute to a work environment where diversity is supported. Currently, I am pursuing my licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW).
WHO I HELP?
My focus is on school-age through college age students, working with them to address triggers, provide emotional support, manage COVID-related anxiety, and address drug and alcohol usage, among other issues.
With my college-age clients, common topics of discussion are: adapting to a new environment/routine, pressure and anxiety related to class performance, relationship issues, and adjustment to post-college life.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Relationship-building and trust are important for any therapeutic relationship and I am proud of my ability to provide an open and welcoming approach that allows natural connections to form with my student clients.
In my practice, I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as techniques to explore and support my clients’ overall mental wellbeing. I am proud of my connections to students I serve and love to witness their progress and successes as they do the work to find balance, self-control, and peace in their lives.
When I am not at AMW then you will find me?
With family and friends, exploring coffee shops, traveling, playing softball, and watching all kinds of sports.
