MEET KELLY

My mission is to provide a supportive environment to allow each individual to feel important, understood, and cared for. I help my clients obtain a greater understanding of themselves and gain insight on how to best cope with their own unique challenges. I believe therapy is the ultimate form of self-care. Through therapy, I hope to assist individuals in cultivating the best version of themselves.

WHO I HELP?

While I serve clients with a variety of concerns and backgrounds, I’m most interested in working with individuals challenged by perinatal mood disorders, fertility issues, and addiction. I also love my work with those affected by trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety and depression.

Using experience from my 10+ years in the mental health field, I aim to meet you where you are — whatever you may be experiencing — so that we can figure things out together.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Simply starting therapy can often be the most difficult part. Sharing things that make us feel vulnerable is not always easy! I’m invested in creating an environment that is supportive, welcoming and non-judgmental to assist you in being your authentic self. Even if you feel something is taboo or unusual, know that it is still welcome in our sessions. I encourage you to talk about it — rather than around it!

Everyone is unique and I do my best to tailor my approach to your individual needs. Let me help you gain the tools to take on everyday life stressors and also heal/grow from the past. My approach is derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which I have found to be a helpful tool in addressing trauma.

When I am not at AMW then you will find me?

Spending time with my spouse and my twin boys; doing something outdoorsy; or simply binge-watching a favorite TV show.
